How do people with terminal cancer return to the Buddha world?

If they have merit, Deity will let them go. Without merit, Deity will not let them return to the Buddha world
Student asked:
A person listens to Zen Buddhist books and realizes his true Buddha nature. Does he have merit? This person is suffering from terminal cancer and still determined to create merit. Unfortunately, there is still no chance for them to create more merit. So after they die, can they return to the Buddha world, uncle?
Teacher replied:
Those who listen to or read Zen Buddhist books and realize their true Buddha nature have no merit. For people who are suffering from terminal cancer and determined to create merit, if they have merit, Deity will let them go. Without merit, Deity will not let them return to the Buddha world.
The sick person should keep listening to 2 sutras:
1. Sutra to invite a Buddha to dwell
2. The Repentance Sutra
If electromagnetic people listen to the sutras and understand them, this person has merit.
If the electromagnetic people listen to the sutras and ask the Deities to help them become human again, this person has a lot of merit.
